Sebastien Argant is a landscape designer at the Nantes School of Architecture and the Versailles School of Landscape Design. He has a long-standing interest in the relationship between our landscape and the food we put on our table. His work on the Landscape Table is a fascinating insight into the journey from the earth to the plate – how we cultivate the taste of the landscape.
Sebastien will be in conversation with Joris Minne, food critic, journalist and PR Consultant. Joris trained as a journalist at the National Geographic Society in Washington DC. This was followed by a successful 10-year career in business journalism in London and Madrid, before returning to Northern Ireland to join the PR industry in 1992.
Joris is well known for his weekly food column for the Belfast Telegraph and is a regular commentator and reviewer for the BBC. Every week for the last five years he has eaten out and reported on a restaurant and is a member of Restaurants Association of Ireland judging panel. He was Chairman of the Metropolitan Arts Centre, Belfast, 2008-2011, and is currently a member of their board of trustees.
