Jennifer’s work uses a variety of movements, with minimal materials. Her performance for the BIFPA was inspired by events over the past four months. It is an interpretation and visualisation of the worries and burdens of a modern life and how our constant rearranging, postponing, gaining and dropping tasks and thoughts and concerns in repetitive motion over time, can lead to collapse. It also is an interpretation of internal emotion and reactions to external pressures, many of which alone look insignificant, but together can be built up by the mind to be totally consuming. It also looks at the fragility of time and how it changes from a slow trickle to a downpour.
